"The Doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will
interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet,
and in the cause and prevention of disease" attributed to
Thomas Alva Edison
Imagine a world where you could have freedom from pain, illness
and allergies. This would be a perfect world.
Are you constantly ill? Do you know why? Does your Doctor scratch
his head and send you away with yet another prescription which
does no good?
This is a common story. Pain comes to us in many guises. Sometimes
it is caused by a physical injury or accident, sometimes it
is as a result of a disease, and sometimes it is a result of
environmental influences, lifestyle or allergies.
"The problems you are having with your
health can be treated successfully with Traditional
Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM is holistic medicine
and recognises the whole person in order
to establish a stable and harmonious state
where healing can take place. Doctors diagnose
illness as separate from the person and this
means that they have a tendency to deal with
the parts that appear to be going wrong rather
than deal with the whole person. This type
of medicine tends to focus on treatment rather
than prevention. TCM recognises that every
person is unique and has a natural inbuilt
self healing mechanism. If we treat the whole
person then we can truly promote good health.
This is called holistic medicine. It is important
to make the comment here that Western medicine
does have its place in healing, particularly
for acute infection, hip replacement, organ
failure where organ transplant is the only
remedy or in cancer treatment for example.
If we were to integrate Western and Chinese
medicine, as happens in China, we could truly
promote a better health care system ."
In my practice I have a combination of treatments
which will help you to a full recovery. Acupuncture, nutrition, yoga and now we have NAET (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques).
NAET uses the principles of Chinese Medicine
to eliminate the allergic response.
