This young patient had been working in a supermarket stacking shelves in the fruit and vegetable department. If he had sick leave his skin would clear up and as soon as he returned to work his skin would flare up within 3-4 days. He was allergic to plastics, chemicals and vitamin C.

Cosmetic Acupuncture/Facial rejuvenation - Chinese Health and Beauty

This client had 12 sessions of cosmetic acupuncture during a three month period. You will notice an improvement in the jaw line, the cheek bones and even the nose is lifted. This lady was in her mid fifties and her whole outlook changed during the treatment programme as you can see in change of hairstyle and clothes. Cosmetic acupuncture is very powerful at other levels of being and does not just address the face.

Cosmetic acupuncture also addresses the health and well being of the person. The pictures below show what can be achieved even though a person has suffered a serious health issue such as cancer.

This lady was in her mid 40s and had recovered from breast cancer. After chemotherapy and much stress she felt she looked 10 years older. The picture on the right is taken after 6 sessions where she is already looking and feeling better with the jaw line and cheek bones much improved. Note the change in hair colour which made her feel "brighter". She is continuing on a maintenance programme.

The same lady after she completed her course of 12 treatments and a further 3 treatments at one month intervals on her maintenance programme. You will notice that she looks so much better and she is feeling great and even considering reconstructive breast surgery.

TEACHING CHILDREN ABOUT ACUPUNCTURE
SUMMER SCHOOL EVENT 2008

A group of 12 year olds who took part in Sheffield University Summer School science event "Looking to the East" during the 2008 Olympics. Here I am demonstrating the concept of Qi and explaining how we are all connected. In the second picture the students got a chance to practice using acupuncture needles with a special teaching tool which mimics the human skin. [pictures taken at my clinic in Sheffield]
